Sounds scammy to me.  Do they have a Swedish sounding name?  Is the money 
supposed to be sent to Sweden or some "associate" in the US.  Sometimes 
they have someone in the US working with them.  If you go far enough with 
them to get a check I would suggest checking it out with the bank branch it 
was created at.
