Hi Ray, Welcome! Why would you want to deprive yourself of some of the fun entailed in owning a ram 300! Seriously, for the number of times you have to adjust the valves, you will go through a lot more work (and expense) changing the cam. My vote is to leave it be and enjoy that lovely solid lifter sound! I know that it has solid liffters, and I also know that it's a long hard job to set there gaps. I was wondering if anyone has replaced the solid lifter cam with a Hydraulic cam, and if so what make and grind was used? Thank you.
