Hello 300'ly to all! The early spring 2005 Franklin Mint catalogue arrived today. Interesting article in the section titled the Collector's Corner. It featured Ronald Gulliford, a descendant of Ray Harroun....the first Indy 500 winner. This guy is big into Porsches. He was aked what his most favorite Franklin Mint model was and his answer was the '57 300C convertible. He was fond of the '57Chrysler because that was the vehicle he owned when with the army at Fort Dix and in what he would cruise the Jersey shore. In addition to the sentimental value, the other reason it is so special is that he states"Quite simply, I think it's the most beautiful American car of any era". My sentiments exactly. Kudos to all C owners. ROB KERN [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Help save the life of a child.
