Well, I've been trying to send a message to the list server (unsuccessfully) for quite some time. I hope it works this time because I'll be typing a long....... About two weeks ago now I bought a '67 Chrysler 300 convertible from one of our former members. It's a NICE car, it wasn't cheap and it does have a few issues. It has the 440 TNT engine with 2 in-line Carter 4 bbl carburetors. The air cleaners are oval shape and gold. The set-up was supposed to be (and looks like) the 300 H, J and K engines in-line (not ram induction) carbs To get to a couple of issues (in case this doesn't post): 1) Where can I get the oval shaped air cleaner elements for this car? Mine are kind of dirty. I took them out and could find no brand name or part number on them. 2) I bought some AAMCO ATF + 4 which the guy at Autozone said was the tranny fluid for this car. What about power steering fluid? Mines a little low. Is this ATF + 4 the stuff I should use in the power steering? That's it for now. Fingers crossed hoping this will post>>>> [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
