[Chrysler300] WE WON BIG!!!

Hello 300'ly to all!
    Mopsy was entered in her second car show...the 2005 Rock-N-Rumble in Altus, Oklahoma today!  There were 250 classic cars, classic trucks, hot rods, and customs entered.  We won 3rd in class for all cars 1955-1959. OK Cool!  Then I learned that was from the junior judges for 18 different categories.  The senior judges did the major categories.  OK...so we stay around for a few more minutes.  BINGO!!  We received the Mayor's Choice Trophy which was the second highest award for the show.  So I thought, hey its been a great day, time to drive 60 miles home before the bugs get thick.  Then!!!!  Mopsy was anounced BEST IN SHOW...a trophy resembling an off-shore oil rig and a check for $1000!!!!!  The cruise ride was free and Mopsy was number one car in line behind the police for the cruise parade with the Mayor in the front seat and his wife in back (at her insistence)!!!  5000 people on the parade route!  Of course I wore my 300 Belfast, Maine sweatshirt the whole day and Mopsy will be on the front page of the Altus Sunday paper for Mother's Day!!  Mopsy....was named after my mother ...it was the affectionate name my father used to address my mother! So we did a lot today in southwest Oklahoma to promote the 300 letter cars!   ROB KERN
