Re: [Chrysler300] Cleaning connectors

Several years ago I bought one of those infrared temp. guns. It is
amazing the parts of your car that are starting to go bad that you can
find. After I took a trip to town and back I checked my u- joints. 3
caps were 79 degrees and one was 99. You can check alternator and
generator bearings, water temp and flow in your radiator. Thermostats,
Checking for hot wiring connections etc. Axle and wheel bearings.
Plus its fun just having a new tool.
Every time my wife burns something in the oven she blabes the oven
thermostat. So the next time i got out my trustee little gun and
checked the oven temp. It was only off 4 degrees. Now that I'm
sleeping in the garage I can use it to see how cold the garage gets at
night.- Gary Barker
