Re: [Chrysler300] what was and what wasn't flash-chromed?

Hi all:

I do not believe that the wheel covers on my 300F were flash chromed. I go
along with John Hertog. The reason being that when I restored the car, there
were some minor abrasions on various locations of the covers. I sanded them
out with #1000 paper and used metal polishing compound to bring the shine back.
There is absolutely no cosmeticdifference in the surface of the portion I
did not touch and the portions I worked on. Anyone is free to inspect the
covers at Tahoe.
