Richard:  Something similar  to this happened with my G convt. the last time 
I had my grandson ride with me. I left him alone for a few minuits 
unattended and I " think he pulled himslf up using the window as a handle." 
Any way, check the stops , Mine had bypassed  and would just move maybe an 
inch or so.  I had all the wrenches out to remove the panal, etc when I 
discovered the problem. This was with the drivers side rear window. A long 
handle 1/2 wrench to loosen the stop and adjust it and I was back OK.Hope 
this is your problem, because anything  else is really involved.  Gary Holm
