[Chrysler300] Carter AFB Carburetors

Hello 300 group,
I'd like to thank everyone answered my electronic ignition question. Now I have another problem with my 1961 G AFB carburetors. After rebuilding them they are running rich. I want to ask about the big adjustment screw in the middle of the 2 idle mixture screws, what is it called and what it does? My service manuals do not show this adjustment screw. Also I would like to know has anyone used Edelbrock carbs on the long rams? I realize I'm going to get mail from the 300 purists about not changing these carbs, but it would be another alternative. I guess I'm having trouble getting away from my street rod background.
Thanks ahead for your replies, Jim
