[Chrysler300] 300's vs ??

(Over the last year, I discovered near 400 bhp 1969-70 428 and 455 engined shorter wheelbase Pontaic Grand Prixs - which were
 likely, would be, rivals for a 'Chrysler 300' had Chrysler been still building them, but they were not - prior to finding these, I never knew of them, so maybe there are still some undiscovered/unrecognised cars out there that were better than many knew, know today?) have fun thinking if snowed in, or ignore if better things to do.
   
  Chris, my impressions of the 300C vs the Pontiac Grand Prix.  In 1962 I was fortunate enuf to own both a low mileage 300C, (white, no air) and a Pontiac Grand prix (389, triple carbs 4-speed, console, 8-lug wheels, black & black) AT THE SAME TIME.  I drove them both and can report that the Grand Prix was seriously faster than the 300C, comfort was similar, and the Pontiac was a better handler and got just as much attention.
   
  No hearsay here, just a subjective owner's report.
