[Chrysler300] C-300, sorta; Murietta or bust

While the next reviser/restorer is at it, mights well start with a
ragtop or a station wagon. The old cowpoke says you can put your boots
in the oven, but that don't make 'em biscuits. However, all should
recognize, reinforce and defend the mystique of the words Chrysler
300--after all these years they go together like peanut butter and
jelly, Roy and Dale, and Amos and Andy. That make and model on the
registration, firewall and and VIN tag will add value to the vehicle
when it is next auctioned off--as will its provenance-whatever the heck
that is.
Got the C-300 on the new trailer and lashed down (I hope). Headed to
Murietta tomorrow via I-5, 58, 138, I-15, I 215. Any local knowledge of
better way and/or severity of Santa Ana winds, please respond. The
little old lady who kindly lets me store my C-300 in her garage tipped
her grandfather clock over on my car yesterday. Barely missed the rear
window. It now has an extra wrinkle in the sail panel, but still way
fewer than me.
C-300'ly,
Rich Barber
Brentwood, CA
1955 C-300 (Takes a licking and keeps on ticking!) (and much easier to
detail the wheels up on the trailer!)
