RE: [Chrysler300] 300C Grille

Hang on! I've just had a careful study of the grille without the missing
up-right and I believe, at least in my case, that it has been "repaired"
with a piece added by a previous owner and is not factory. Now I wonder
what's been done to the hood release..ahhhhhh.

Sorry for the false alarm...I'll look a little more carefully next time
before crying wolf!

This non-missing upright in Owen's grille and at least one other is a new
thing on me.

I'll say this: there must have been a redesign of the hood release mechanism
from "full grille" to "missing upright" because the later type would not
function with the upright in place.

Time to get out the multiple parts books looking for a running change with
the possibility of a note going into the Handbook.
