worse than [Chrysler300] Jiffy Jet bag prices?!

$511 US for a Jiffy Jet washer bag ?! - well try around $2750 US just paid
on ebay for a secondhand but restored 1970 Pontic GTO carburetor for their
Ram Air model/motor - I found this as was watching some other Pontiac part
for one of my Pontis.

Certain 67 - 72 Pontiac GTO parts, like rare special higher performance
model correct code/number carbs, special heads, 4 bolt cylinder blocks, and
some other make's small rare items bring real high/scary prices, like
correct original VR series superchargers (also all usualy in the thousands
$$s) and original McCulloch boost guage stuff for 57 F Code Thunderbirds.

We are lucky many of our '50s - early 60s' 300s used most parts common to
other Chrysler/Mopars, but even so car collecting is becoming more/very
expensive if one wants to have a rare nice car correct and show, or if we
wish to make that/our nice driver car a 100% correct show car?

Maybe we all can help ourselves by not going too silly bidding on ebay
driving up prices even more chasing parts, but if we have searched elsewhere
for ages with no luck, sometimes one just has to bid more than we like just
to get that item that has annoyed us because we know we need it and it will
make our car much better?
But then sometimes an exact same part comes along again real soon, and makes
only half to a third, just to annoy us?! - aren't cars/life wonderful ?!
(Here in Oz we have just finished dailight saving too, and our weather on
the weekend has gone from summer to like early/mid winter, which any of you
who caught last weekend's aussie F1 Gtand Prix may have noted/seen.)
