Hi paul and grouper.You say you are sending the trans out to a re-builder.Make sure that they know that the 300 trans is different.More disks in the clutch packs,tighter Clarence in packs.Different Governor ect.Gary the parts doc can help with the governor! Eff they build it to a stocker ,you will have a junker.Jim McMullan 300 F
