[Chrysler300] 57 Chrysler power steering pump

I have been reading about issues with the 57 Chrysler 300 power steering pump. I do not have any experience with this particular pump. I did have Steer and Gear in Columbus, Ohio, rebuild the leaking power steering pump on my 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst. They did an excellent job, also made me new hoses that go from the pump to the steering box. The fluid return hose in quite simple, but the supply hose takes a lot more pressure and is more complex. I don't know if Steer and Gear rebuilds 57 pumps, but I was sure happy with the work they did for me. I think they also rebuild the steering boxes, something I may do on my Hurst down the road. If anyone needs Steer and Gear's phone number and address, let me know. Good luck with the 57 pump. As the 57 pump was only one year, and noise was apparently an issue, that may well have been why they went to something else??  Steve in Columbus, OH.
