Be cautious when purchasing really old NOS shocks.  I bought a pair of rear
shocks on e-Bay and they had set around so long, internal seals or orifices
had become dysfunctional and one of the obviously unused shocks (in original
box) no longer functioned properly.  New NAPA shocks were installed and work
fine.

I purchased and installed slightly modified front gas shocks on our 1955
C-300 and am delighted with the ride, height and control.

Also, be sure to paint whatever you install black as the judges don't like
any other color (like Henry F**d)

our old Mopars?? I don't like the hard ride of the New Gas Shocks but that
is all I can find for sale, maybe some of you have some NOS Oils put away
