Johan, Dual-compartment master cylinders were not mandated until 1967. Most likely, you have a single compartment MC with a single line running from the MC to a tee on the frame rail. From the tee, one line runs to the front brakes, and one line to the rear brakes. The line to the rear likely has a residual pressure valve somewhere. A dual- compartment MC can be retrofitted. If you do upgrade, I'd recommend going to the disc system used in later models (1970, for instance) which utilized single-piston calipers rather than the more troublesome 4-piston calipers you likely have.
