Johan,

Dual-compartment master cylinders were not mandated until 1967. Most  
likely, you have a single compartment MC with a single line running  
from the MC to a tee on the frame rail. From the tee, one line runs  
to the front brakes, and one line to the rear brakes. The line to the  
rear likely has a residual pressure valve somewhere.  A dual- 
compartment MC can be retrofitted. If you do upgrade, I'd recommend  
going to the disc system used in later models (1970, for instance)  
which utilized single-piston calipers rather than the more  
troublesome 4-piston calipers you likely have.
