In addition to what John Hertog mentioned on painting G wheel covers, I would add a trick that can save significant time, and perhaps give a more even line, is to try this. Get a piece of thin clear plastic film, like from an office supply store, Make it into a circle by setting it into the wheel cover and hold the ends together where they meet within the painted wheel cover area. Tape the ends together creating a cylinder that matches the area to be painted. You now have a mask to use for each wheel cover. just set it in place, spray down inside a few coats, and that's it. Personally I find using masking tape on the inside curve quite difficult and came up with this method by experimentation.
