RE: [Chrysler300] replies to query re: fuel drainback

One of my H's has a pronounced fuel drainback / loss problem after
setting for one week and I pour a small amount of raw gas thru the carb
to get it started. The other H is not as bad and I use starting fluid to
get it going. What are the pros and cons of using raw gas and starting
fluid? Doug Warrener

Thanks all for the replies, some private, some on the list. More than a
few
members have indicated that the fuel pump is at fault and allows fuel to
drain back to the tank. Also suggested installing an in-line check valve
such as John Deere # RE54244 . This makes perfect sense to me, and I
will
try it. Thanks all for the various inputs.
