The new Yorker carpet is totally different from that used in the 300 The NY 
material is what I'd call a tapestry and very delicate it seems where the 
300 material is loop pile.  Got to admit I have never seen what I knew was 
original 300 carpet but based on Gary's product there is no correlation. 
Have saved and reused a few in 55 New Yorkers  which I have done and they 
are neat.  Can't imagine any place remaking that material since it is so 
different.
