Re: [Chrysler300] Alternative use of 300G convertible - viewing

It saves as a QuickTime ".3gp" (3GPP Movie Importer) file. It won't open in my QuickTIme, but if QuickTime Player is launched, a File/Open will convert it to a format QuickTime can run.

That said... as a 30+ year computer professional, I do not understand why people save anything in QuickTime! It has been a nuisance application since its inception -- nothing but problems throughout its history, not the least of which is extremely poor (or totally lacking) backward compatability.

If every Windows user would use ".WMV" or ".mpg" formats the world would be a more enjoyable place....

I have Quick Time and won't open the .txt (text file) from within the
program. It needs to be a .mov file. Sometimes movie files are transmitted
after conversion to text files so that they can be e-mailed. It needs to be
converted back to a .mov file.
