Re: [Chrysler300] Kepich exhaust for 300E

I used Waldron's and had excellent results. I ordered stainless steel dual exhaust, front to back , for my 62 300 Sport.
I installed it and the right side was too close to the frame. I called and he said "just get out your torch and heat it and bend it". I told him that I do not have a torch, which I don't, and he sent me another pipe which clears the frame.
Below is a link with his phone numbers. Call him to see if he can make them for the "E".

As far as the Stainless Steel pipes available thru Eileen Brass. Heard many complaints that they do not fit well. Tis a pity to have the bended bend pipes that do not fit well. Can someone close to her find out where the problem is and get it corrected?

I will agree with Henry, and say that I have all my exhaust systems done by
a local shop. They key is finding a local shop where the owner cares, and
does good work. I am fortunate to have such a shop in my area. He knows how
to use a bender and creates, from scratch, beautiful systems that fit well,
look right, and are priced right. Considering all I have to do is drop off
the car and pick it up when done, the average cost of about $400, front to
rear, all new, installed, no fuss, is well justified.

The only "exception" to my using a local shop is the ram exhaust system
(forward 5 pipes) which I always purchase from Eileen Brass; those are good
pipes, well-made, and fit well (as long as not stainless! )

We say some good, some bad. Bit faster than others but we've had problems
with the header pipe on one. Now we have a local shop make up and install a
system. In the past, installing the kits ourselves didn't work because
bends were not quite right, pipes hitting the frame, etc. Had to bang dents
in the pipes here and there to stop the pipes hitting the frame after
  getting tired of the rattles.

Our two cents, Henry Hopkins/Richard Palmer
