Re: [Chrysler300] Shop Manuals

I'm in the two radio business and my suppliers such as Kenwood offer
their service manuals in CD format as well of course as the regular
paper type. At first, I scoofed at the CD format but there are
instances where that format is preferred since you can at will print
whatever page or schematic that you may need and not have to worry about
messing it up as it's a very simple matter to just print another one
later when needed. They (Kenwood) have done an excellent job of scanning
their manuals so the print quality is perfect.
Just my 2 cents worth about manuals on CD,

        Fern

I agree with Jean. The CD might be nice, but if the scanning quality
isn't great, garbage-in, garbage-out. I am old school, books on paper,
not CD!! (Well, maybe War and Peace, but not a car manual.)

Anyway, consider the price of paper and ink today, and I'd opt for the
book, if available and you don't have to sell your car to afford it.

Have spooky Halloween! (Check out where I have volunteering every
weekend evening parking cars in October to raise money for the Red Cross
in Wallingford, CT www.trailofterror.com )

Hello all,

My 0.02 chf worth...I ordered this cd/manual for my 62s and it is very
complete, although it took me forever to print it and bind it... a good
experience nonetheless.

Now that I am restoring the H, I need clear diagrams/pictures/ detail
photos,
and the cd doesn't give enough detail (some pictures are too dark), so I
bought a good old 1962 Chrysler Imperial Manual on eBay...paid a lot
more
than for the cd but I have clear diagrams, pictures and so on...

Just a comment...

Cheers

Jean

Go here:

They have some shop manuals on CD for $47.95. Noodle around for more
stuff, including Carpeting, and 'vert tops and boots.
