RE: [Chrysler300] Eleanor Riehl

I would like to add my condolences as a member of the Chrysler 300 community who has been aided multiple times by the knowledge, generosity, and commitment of both Eleanor and George over the years.

Importance: High

I have just learned that Eleanor Riehl has lost her battle with cancer.

I never personally met Eleanor Riehl , perhaps it was best that way. I can say however that we have had many conversations on the phone in which we have talked about a whole multitude of issues from US politics to the condition of the medical system in the US and Oh Yes ! 300's as well.

I say it may be better that I did not meet her in person because I have in my mind a picture of a strong woman ,graceful in age , with a mind not matched by even Harvard's best , a woman who when she walked into a room immediately the attention was drawn to her , a woman who the best chefs of the world would congregate around her kitchen.

I have a lot of time for George Riehl , I think I spoke to Eleanor more, it's just the way it went ,you know, place a call and then lose track of why you really called when you got talking to Eleanor , when the real reason was to ask George how to set up that linkage .

Eleanor died too soon, my mother always said the good die young , she was right in this case .

While I am 5,000 miles away I wish I could be with George today to sit and thank him for the time I have known not only Eleanor but George as well.

We have all leaned on George over the years stealing from him his wealth of knowledge .

Today I do hope that each and every one of you will get on the phone, get in your car , or get to him by what ever means you have , we all owe that to Eleanor, and today, for George as well.
