I'm curious why you had to take the torsion bars out to pull the transmission? Not sure why the bolts would be backed off that much, was the ride height normal or really, really low? Normally you would add tension as the spring tension of the bar weakens......leaving the tension bolt deaper into the threads....? Am I wrong......it has been a while since I've been under the car?
