Hi Group, I need some advice about the front brakes on my H. The front shoe in the right front drum shows more wear than the other three front shoes. The lining is "crazed", possibly from overheating. The car does pull to the right. Adjusting the shoes stops the pulling, but only for a short time. I plan to have the drums turned, if needed, and to have the shoes ground to fit the drum diameter if needed. Can someone tell me what the original drum inside diameter was and what is the maximum allowable diameter thet they can be machined to? Also, any ideas on what is causing the excessive wear on the one shoe? Could it be a weak return spring or a defective cylinder?
