Hi Rich, Based on the picture you provided a link to, it's clearly a 300 Sport, and not a 300H. That opinion is based on the center armrest / buddy seat, visible right under the rear view mirror. 300H's had a console and no center armrest at front seat John Hertog Sag Harbor NY -----Original Message----- From: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Rich Barber Sent: Monday, March 26, 2007 9:48 PM To: mallyn@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; 'Wieland, Elizabeth'; 'Chrysler300' Subject: RE: [Chrysler300] '62 Caramel Sport Conv. A closeup picture of Jerry Lewis driving the '62 300 ragtop can be seen at: http://img132.imageshack.us/my.php?image=picture077wf3.jpg Another member has commented that whether the '62 300 convertible is a Sport or a 300-H is an old and unresolved issue. Can anyone tell from the photo? I was wondering how DOES one tell the difference between a 300 Sport and a 300-H from the outside? Our club website indicates the only way is to be close enough to see the little "H" on the trunk, so, unless someone finds some movie records, the question may remain unresolved forever. Jerry just turned 81, so if he is to be queried, it would be a good idea to ask him soon. Like many of the stars in the show, Jerry was only in for a short scene and was uncredited. The world has become considerably madder since 1963, IMHO, and the movies, stars and cars more boring. M3 World won an Oscar for Best Effects and Sound Track. Johnny Winters was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for best actor. The red Dodge ragtop really looked great in the movie and was driven HARD, as were all the cars. Jimmy Durante kicking the bucket was a classic scene at the beginning.
