Randy, John and all: There is a list of vendors and service providers on the Web site, courtesy of Bob Merritt who has complied it; however it is not an "approved" list in any way, form or manner. Just wanted to clarify that. The vendors on that list are not endorsed by anyone - not by the Club, not by Bob Merritt. Randy, some parts are expensive due to supply and demand. Our Club member George Laurie, in Australia (see roster) reproduces pretty much all of the lenses for your 300G. Steering wheels can be obtained thru Mike Burke (see roster) at half the cost you mentionned. Indeed, good idea to use the listserver to check with the members before plunking your hard-earned money down. For the trunk floor, try Bob at R/Cars. He is reasonable and does great work. I think the club has him in the approved vender list on the site. Good luck. As I have learned the hard way, these cars ain't cheap to restore....plan on twice the budget and done in three times the time planned. Well we are a couple weeks into this project and we need a clue! Been looking on e-bay for some parts for the G, parking lenses, tail light lenses, and just things in general. I would appreciate it if you could give us some idea as to what this may cost. Parking lite lenses for $100+!! Tail lites for $100+!! What in heaven's name would a trunk floor cost and who could do it! Got a price on redoing the steering wheel of $1300!! Frankly, we don't have $50K or whatever to do this, unless I take the next 10 years and the parts will be even higher. I'm sorry to say this, but there is too much money out there bidding up these cars and parts. I would appreciate if some of you who have done this could let me know of some sample costs off the list server if you don't want to publicize what you paid for some of this stuff.
