Hi 300 Group, Getting close to "On the Road Again" for the Black G HT. I need the "Group Recommended Alignment Specs" for the 300 G. I have an alignment appointment with the Chrysler Dealership on Friday. They don't have alignment specs for the early cars, but I told them I would get the "correct specs". The front end was rebuilt with new ball joints, bushings, tie rod ends, etc. Also, put KYB shocks at all 4 corners. The wire wheels were built with polished stainless spokes and are 15" by 7" wide. The tires are Diamond Back Classic Radials, 235 / 75 by 15". I printed and saved the Wheel alignment articles from 16 May 2000 that were printed on the 300 club site. Recommended Alignment specs in the article were: 0 Camber ( or as close as you can get ). 2 1/2 positive caster on the right wheel. 2 1/4 positive caster on the left wheel. Toe 1/8 inch IN. The article also mentioned to be careful not to tighten the steering box adjustment "too much" when you have radial tires on a "non radial car". Do these Alignment specs appear to be " in the ballpark " for our 300's ? Are there any specs on " how high up to set the the torsion bars "? >From ground to bottom of bumper or ground to bottom of front wheel opening. 300ly Lauren R Lampi Grand Rapids, MN 300 G [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/ Yahoo!
