Hi Doug and All: Doug, you need to use a weatherstrip adheasive, not mastic. I use Permatex Super Weatherstrip Adhesive. It comes in the black or yellow. In the plant' originally, the yellow was applied to the body of the car by flowbrush and the black to the weatherstrip by rollercoater (at least in my experience). The wet coated weatherstrip was then positioned on the car where the yellow material had dried, reactivating it and forming a bond. When applied properly, this stuff works pretty well. Hope this helps. 300ly, Gil In a message dated 5/14/2007 9:15:25 PM Eastern Daylight Time, 2HsandaHeritage@xxxxxxxxxxx writes: Hi Group, Can anyone recommend the proper mastic for reapplying loose weatherstriping and/or using on new material.
