Tom, I'm not sure what your goal is here. If you are looking to have the most "correct" battery you can get in your 300K, you will probably have to pay the price from Antique Auto Battery (I assume that's who you mean). What do you mean by "go to a 65 rather than a 64"? The correct battery for your car would be a Group 27, which you should be able to find locally for about $65.00.
