RE: [Chrysler300] Observation On Post-Daimler Chrysler

Jess:

Let's hope the new guys are car guys, not just money guys. We shall see.

It would not take much imagination to slap some different skin, trim and
performance options on the Challenger chassis to make a 2008 Chrysler 300
(Perhaps a "DD") coupe and convertible. It might even have to be called a
Chrysler 500-A! If so, I move we allow them into our club!

My local Chrysler dealer says the initial production of the Challenger is
already oversold and on allocation. Dealer markup is now around $25K over
list.

Save your greenbacks, Chrysler will rise again.

The Cerberus plan I'm sure is to take more stock public. Cleaning up debt
will make stock look more attractive.New product development will take a
back seat to raising that stock value unless it will directly link to higher

stock values. Hopefully they will continue to fund the Challenger since they

can see that the Mustang is the only thing keeping Ford CARS afloat.
