Hi All: Just a couple last things about the hold down. Mike Reed sent me a picture of the Atlas product. It certainly is close to the correct original. Only difference I could spot was the ends of the "Z" component were a little shorter than the original which extend to the center of the 2nd hole. Also, the right side "hook" was not Cd plated. Neither were the wing nuts. A couple of additional items: --George Riehl informed me that, yes, the 300G left hold down rod is painted body color, as are all the succeding cars thru the 300L. --Just a note that the 300F battery shelf/support was black enamel----ie, painted separately, whereas the later cars are painted body color. 'nuf said of this subject?
