(Wish I had it back.) It was a non-stop trip and we had been driving all night at freeway speeds. As I pulled into a gas station, the bump at the driveway was all it took to put me into complete electrical failure... No lights, engine or anything. I coasted to the gas pump, wondering what I was going to do in a strange small town in the middle of the night. One small twist of the ground cable on the battery, and all was well. Apparently the continuous high amperage of the lights, etc. had put the connection over the edge when I hit the bump. Not bad, though, considering that it was my "Go-to-work beater, and that it had no preparation for a hurry-up trip!
