I'm sure everyone knows this but might be worth repeating. Becauses of ethanol's "flash point", it's instaneous burn in the cylinder yields no "mile per gallon". If you have 20% ethanol per gallon in your tank, you have only 8/10 of a gallon of fuel which will yield a mile per gallon rating. In other words, you need 1.2 gallons of ethanol laced fuel to equal the 1 gallon of gasoline you used to buy in "the old days".It really bites that we are paying $3 per gallon but only getting 8/10 gallon of useable fuel. Then of course is the theorum that if you fill up with 20% ethanol fuel and don't use your car for a while, does the 20% really evaporate from your tank? Moral of the story: Shop around for ethanol-free fuel!!! Let the cards and letters begin!!!
