[Chrysler300] Temp Gage

Hi,

The last 2 times I drove my K, the temp. gage went all the way up to hot
soon after getting on the road, then after a while it went down to normal temp.
I opened the hood at max. temp. and I couldn't smell or hear anything out of
the ordinary. The top of the radiator was hot but not real hot. Sounds
like a sticky thermostat, but the one in the car is only about a year and a
half old and only has about 2,000 miles on it. Could it be something else?
Should I just go ahead and change it? Has anyone tried the "fail-safe" type?

Thanks,

George Clineman
