[Chrysler300] 300-D Under Hood Paint Color & Close-up Hood corner pics.

Hi all-
   
  Is the underhood color for a 300-D the same as body color? My D appears to have originally been body color. How about the front & rear wheel wells - have a 1957 Saratoga parts car that seems to have had gloss black wheel wells, but the D appears to have been body color.
   
  Also, my bodyman is reparing the rusted front corners of my D hood.  The corners had some previous poor repairs removed, and now my guy is looking to see how it was done originally.
   
  Also, if a 300-D did not originally have undecoating, would the underside of the body slso be body color - I saw a bright red 300-C that was for sale in Las Vegas over a year ago that was painted body color underneath - but then, there were several other incorrectly-restored features about that car.
