[Chrysler300] 300F question !!!!!

Hi everyone,
I was at a friends house today to start getting a 440 engine. He has a 300F, owned it since about 1967 or 68 and the car has about 30 something thousand miles on it. It's been in the garage since he owned it...collecting the usual things. What should be between the  two rear bucket seats? Should it be  a center from the wheelcovers? Anyway between his rear seats it looks to be very similar to a 62 300 sport side emblem but with raised 300 numbers. He says thats the way it was when he got the car . Did they come both ways ?
