Thank you very much for your reply.

Do you know what is the average price for a mirror ? I would need one for the 
passenger side of my F and a friend of mine would need one too for his '60 
New-Yorker. I think we both can use double or tripple mirrors, they must look 
like the remote controle one , am I right ?
We are looking on ebay for mirrors available and there is the other solution 
to find them in junkyards if there are some left there. 
I was surprised to see pitted mirrors on ebay, not the base itself but the 
chromed surround of the glass. I never thought it could be made in zamac.
