[Chrysler300] 300-C versus 300-D - Compression Ratio

Here's a general question a buddy asked me, and I didn't have the answer:

Is the published compression ratio difference between the 300-C and the 300-D accounted for by:

  1) different pistons,
  2) different head design, or
  3) no difference except on paper

  Thanks,
  John Spiers
