I've noticed on several different '64's I have had that the bracket that the
lower portion of the shock is held into can be either rivited or bolted in
place. Is this the same on the earlier years? If bolting was more common it
would seem to me that some new brackets could be made up that would simply be
the 1/4" wider to accomodate the KYB's which are so popular. The club could
stock them and it would be much easier than the grind dunk grind dunk avoid
melting the bushing on your new expesnive shock proceedure.
Any takers?
