Hi to all! Was getting a rear end cleaned and sand blasted(from a 61 New Yorker) when paint marks were noticed on the "pumkin". A pink splotch and a blue turquoise splotch on the side. Also a blue turquoise and some yellow on the underside flat section is visible. Those marks were hiding under a coat of tar and/or undercoat. I took a picture and can email to anybody interested to have this for reference if doing a "concours correct" resto on their 300G, or just for fun for that matter, and if these marks are relevent to F or G cars... Anyone know what they mean and if they would be proper for letter cars also? It's obvious also that the housing was painted black and the pumpkin was left unpainted from the factory. Jean-Yves in stormy New Brunswick, were 5 feet of snow fell in Feb. alone!
