The main part was a ribbed pattern. The ribs were approximately 7/32" wide. That area was surrounded by a rough textured strip and then there was a smooth strip for the outside border. I constructed a rubber mat based on pieces of an original mat I had found. If anyone wants a picture I can email one to you. Mike Meyer In a message dated 3/2/2008 10:33:22 P.M. The trunk used a black rubber mat. As for the the back seat cardboard I can only say that the non letter 300's did have the card board. The rough, unrestored, non runing, H hdt I had a few years ago did not have the black card board because it had the carpet covered fiber board. Of course it could have had one but with the fiber board b eing in the identical place, I think the need for additional piece of cardboard unecessary, Regards.
