The last numbers I saw, it was a little more than one half of the 
membership was on line. May have gone up some, but many will NEVER be 
on line. They will still need to be mailed. This has been discussed in 
some of our business meetings and isn't yet practical. It could be 
posted on the website, but truth is, most of us have their copies going 
back many years, nearly 30 in my case and it is interesting to look 
back over them, for the ads. The Letter Car series I don't read 
anymore, same old reprints, ... again.

My suggestion some time back was to make a new member publication to be 
sent out with their card which would include the constantly reprinted 
year by year reviews of our letter cars, made up into a booklet. This 
makes up the core of the newsletter.  This series moves to the next 
Letter each issue and repeats every 3 years which, in my case means 
I've gotten them all 10 times. Each time with some new ads and a couple 
messages including my future Meet info. If that core isn't reprinted 
each time it would reduce the size to a page or 2 and result in much 
less time and money for printing and mailing costs.

Extra copies of the Letter Car review reprints could be at the meets 
for those who want an extra copy, or sent with their renewal, if they 
ask.
