[Chrysler300] Steering Wheel scaping column

Hi All,
I must be losing my touch... seems like they don't go together
quite the way they used to. Anyway, recently yanked the steering column to
install a ground strap to get the horn to work on my '64. Obtained a small piece of
thin copper, cut to fit and reassembled the column. Now the wheel scrapes on
the collar and prevents the wheel from turning easily. Is it possible I lost
some spacer or something or just overtightened the nut at the top of the wheel?
It's not exactly a nut I'd imagine leaving um.. loose would be a good idea.

Also looking forward to yanking the rams off yet again to readjust
valves...Not! Oh well; must be my punishment for restifying.

Thanks,
Mike Laiserin
Phoenix, AZ
