My ISP is providing excellent anti-spam filtering for $20/year. They are currently filtering over 400 messages/week that I can quickly scan and review once each week. I have not seen a valid message in their junk list for some time. If I find a valid message, I can whitelist the sender. I still get 5-6 messages/week that are spam and I forward these to my ISP and they are supposed to add these to their filter. I really don't understand the motivation of the spammers. I'm glad they do such a good job so I can focus on that (mostly) good Chrysler 300 stuff on our server. If your ISP has also discovered a new way to filter spam I would wonder if it is also blocking some valid traffic that we might have been getting before the new filter methods were put into place? I used to check my 'blocked' folder and occasionally would spot a message that should have bolted thru the older filtering, now since the new filtering is in place, I'm rarely seeing something blocked to examine. Has anyone else also spotted this new development?? -- Paul Holmgren 2 57 300-C's in Indy Hoosier Corps #L6 A generation which ignores historyhas no past -- and no future. - RobertA.
