Re: [Chrysler300] 60 Chrysler turn signal problem

Lindsey,

Do they work if you hold the switch either to the left or to the right? Does the switch go back to the center immediately (doesn't cancel when the wheel is turned)?

If the lights work when the switch is held to the left or the right, then I might guess the switch in the dash is bad. The more likely problem (in my experience) is the canceling switch which is on top of the steering column, under the dash. A single screw holds it in place. It has a rocker switch in which a break is common.

Good luck.

The turn signal on my F stopped on friday. Put a new flasher in, worked
once, then nothing again. Seems to be one of the areas my service manual
doesn't cover. Before tangling with it under the dash, anyone have any
ideas or advice? Thks.
