RE: [Chrysler300] 1955 C-300 on eBay

Note the VIN 3N552651 on the original registration--registered in July,
1955.  Also a 1956 (?) vacuum storage tank added and air cleaner pots
painted gray instead of gold.  Some evidence of several engine compartment
pieces (shroud, pb booster, heater box) in gray, rather than black or gold.
Not criticizing, just find that of interest. I see I have several of you
stimulated.  Go for it.  A rising tide lifts all boats.

The car is listed as being in Santa Barbara and we have at least one member
in Santa Barbara with a C-300.

I'm sending him a BCC of this note.  Seems like I have seen his name on the
server from time to time.
