Add to that list, clean the screw drive and follower inside the clear plastic tube on '55 (and probably later) power seats. There is a tiny retaining C-clip somewhere in the process that enables removing or accessing the screw and follower that pick up all the grit and dust bunnies under the seat. The front bench seat on a '55, anyway, just lifts straight up and out for easy access to the power seat motors and linkage. Fresh oil has fixed more motors for me than any other thing.
