Hi All, This would have to supplant a strong period ³D² song: Mama said...There¹d be D¹s Like This (The Shirelle¹s) ³It¹s Delovely² or in this case ³It¹s D Lovely² does have the DeSoto ring. There are 2 vocal recordings that sound like the commercial: Jeri Southern & Rosemary Clooney Skitch Henderson did a musical version and Ella Fitzgerald¹s version doesn¹t sound like the commercial Remarks anyone? Rockin¹ Tony from South Philly High Home of Chubby Checker, Fabian & Bobby Rydel etc. Fabian and I couldn¹t sing a lick. That¹s why I became a dentist. Today he probably wishes he did too. Thanks, Larry! Does seem a song made for the 300D, though, doesn't it? Gil In a message dated 9/21/2008 4:52:35 P.M. A quick check shows this one by Gordon MacRae but I'm sure I've heard a woman's voice singing the jingle as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDPgpnl2ASo On Sun, 21 Sep 2008 16:08:19 EDT, lettercars wrote > Hi Tony: > What about the Delovely, Desomething etc, etc. song for the 300D?
